Hi, I'm Tony! I build full-stack applications with a focus on accessibility and user-centred design. I'm a final-year Master of Information Technology student at UNSW, graduating May 2026.
I work primarily with Python, JavaScript, and React. I'm currently learning more about cloud platforms and implementing agentic workflows to automate and optimise development processes.
I got here via a slightly unusual path. I took my first programming classes as electives during a medical science degree at USYD, continued writing Python and MATLAB through a graduate diploma in medical physics, and liked it enough to change track entirely. My background has shaped how I approach software: I'm drawn to the intersection of science, design, and people, and care deeply about how users experience and interact with technology.
Throughout my studies, I've worked on projects for myself and others:
- PGC Newsletter — a TypeScript and React app with a form-driven interface for editing and previewing an MJML email template, used to produce the postgraduate student newsletter at UNSW.
- Job Application Tracker — a GitHub-native tool that uses Issues and Actions to help students track job applications, send automated reminders, and visualise the application pipeline as a Sankey diagram.
- VR Myopia Research — I built interactive virtual reality applications for the UNSW School of Optometry and Vision Science supporting ongoing research into myopia management in children (source not publicly released).
